Doesn’t she have the prettiest little face! Kai was such a sweet little girl and so much fun to photograph. She’s was only 13 days younger than my little Meara. Nine months is such a fun age. Meara’s become such a momma’s girl, which I secretly love.
Last week Alaska gave us a couple days of beautiful weather so we spent one evening at the park. My husband and I, both being photographers, naturally made a photoshoot out of it. We played with backlighting and I love the beautiful look of the sun kissing the heads of my children. Vince took the last pic of Liam. Liam has to blow every dandelion he sees. He just cannot resist.
Yeah for boys!! Kyle had so much self control and actually waiting to find out the gender. I honestly thought she was having a girl. I’m so excited for her, boys are awesome! Kyle made new motherhood look effortless. The girl did a marathon 2 weeks after giving birth. Go Kyle! Thanks for letting me capture your handsome little guy!
Ailee was such a gorgeous little newborn and still so little even at 2 weeks when most newborns start to chunk up a bit. She gave us a fight at first. She was sooo sleepy and grouchy and just wouldn’t give in. I think the real story is that she wasn’t sure about this strange lady with the big black box attached to her face and all the flashing lights! She finally gave up though and let me play around a little before she had to go.
I had to sneak in this pic of my little girl. We actually had a sunny day last week that wasn’t frigid so I jumped on that I got a few shots of Meara in her little crocheted bikini. She has 10 big fat mosquito bites as a result, poor girl! But ooohhh isn’t she cute!!
Lastly, if you look closely, behold the three white things that are the reason I have huge dark circles under my eyes these days! As I type she’s drooling all over my arm working on number teeth 4, 5, and 6!! But look at that smile. Her cousins have given her the name as the “most smiliest baby alive.” She’ll smile at anyone who is there to receive it, even strangers passing by at the supermarket.
