I love the rolls!

Look at those lips!! They make a perfect “M.” They are so sweet and kissable!

Ammon was one week old here. Can you believe how rolly polly he is as a newborn? Poor Becky, who’s used to 6 pounders, gave birth to Ammon at over 8 lbs! He took his sweet time getting here too. He was a week over due. He was so handsome and squishy! This is Becky’s third child, all under 3 1/2 years. They’ll definitely keep her busy. I’ve been feeling the sting of the third child. Meara’s as perfect as they come. She sleeps 7-10 hours straight through the night! However, my times cut in half again. This is why I will not be taking clients in January and February except for newborns and maternity. My head is still spinning from our new addition and I feel I need to focus on the three most important gifts God has given me.

The definite perks of my job is getting to know some really great people. This is one of those great families. Alex is a very loved and cherished little boy. His mom warned me that he hates to be naked so I got the studio steaming hot and he turned out to be so sleepy and pliable dispite being naked. I can’t say it enough, I love newborns! Absolute innocence bundled up in one little package!

Meara was blessed this last Sunday and it was such a thrill to get her all dolled up. Being a mom of two boys before I had my first girl, I don’t think I’ll ever get used to seeing Meara in a dress. It just makes me giddy! I have to point out how dang tall my little girl is. She had her two month doctors appointment yesterday. She was measured at 50th percentile for weight and head circumference and 94th percentile for height!! My husband and I aren’t super tall, I’m just 5′5″. However, my little sister is 6 foot tall. Meara and my sister look surprisingly like eachother too so far. I can’t believe my baby girl is already 2 months old, it’s so hard to see her grow. I’m trying to savor every bit of yummy baby checks and squishy cuddle time with her.

This sweet little girl was not a happy camper during the shoot. She fell asleep breifly for the shots in the adorable sweater set her aunt made for her. Other than that she was only happy mommy’s arms in which I was able to sneak a couple great shots. Anika is a very much loved little girl, even grandma and grandpa came to watch the shoot for a bit. I love this little blanket her mom lovingly made.

Holy cow!! Look at the lashes on these beautiful children!! I couldn’t get over how long, thick and beautiful they were. I had so much fun photographing these guys. It was hard to take a bad pic. John, the baby, was the smiliest little guy I’ve ever seen. Arianna and Henry have eyes to die for. Just gorgeous. Arianna, Henry, and John are from Virginia and were visiting their family here in Alaska. I photographed their cousins a couple months ago. Before this family’s shoot we had all 6 cousins under the age of four in my studio for a together picture. It was pretty crazy but what can you expect? They turned out great and I’ll post them soon. These past few weeks have been crazy with the holiday rush. Thanks for all those who are patiently waiting for Christmas pictures.
