It has been awhile since I’ve photographed older children, so it was refreshing to deal with children who can actually follow directions. Their mom had been trying to get in for awhile and then I went on maternity leave so she had to wait even longer. Finally all the stars aligned and I got to photograph these beautiful, extremely photogenic children.

Little Sarina was a dream to photograph. She has the sweetest little face and personality to match. I LOVE the little Santa suit her mom brought, her pics are going to make a great Christmas card. I loved the rolls on this girl. In all her naked pictures she’s playing with her fat rolls, too cute! Don’t get me started on the tutu and baby legs leggings, adorable! I’m glad her Mom waited a little longer for this great age when she can sit up but not quite crawl and get into trouble.

5 week old Zachary was the first shoot after my maternity leave, which was way too short. My schedule for the next 2 months is pretty laid back but I just might take another break at the first of the year. Zachary wasn’t too into cooperating without a binky but luckily he fell asleep just long enough to snap a few sleepy pics. Zachary is one week older than my Meara and his parents were saying how Zach just started to smile at them. And sure enough this week Meara’s giving me all kinds of smiles and “gggoooo” sounds. I love babies! Not at 3 in the morning though but other than that I could hold Meara’s squishy body and gaze into her sweet little face all day.

My sleepy baby is starting to wake up and be more alert. I had to take some pictures with her eyes open to prove to my Dad that Meara does indeed have eyes.
